Campaign Module

The Campaign module helps teams schedule, monitor, and manage campaigns across SMS, Email, WhatsApp, and Push Notification channels. Use it when you need to turn a campaign, audience, channel mix, template set, and schedule into an active customer communication plan.

Before you start

Confirm these items before working in the Campaign module:

  • A valid campaign exists, or you are ready to create one.
  • A target audience exists in the workspace.
  • Templates exist for each channel you plan to schedule.
  • The workspace has a timezone or you know which timezone to select.
  • Consent, suppression, and channel eligibility rules have been reviewed.
  • A success metric is defined before launch.

Campaign pages

The Campaign module has three main user-facing pages.

Manage scheduled campaigns

Open Campaign Schedule to view scheduled campaigns.

From this page, you can:

  • Search scheduled campaigns by name or ID.
  • Filter scheduled campaigns by base campaign.
  • Switch between grid and list view.
  • Refresh analytics.
  • Schedule a new campaign.
  • Clone a scheduled campaign.
  • Delete a scheduled campaign.
  • Edit audience and date range.
  • Edit channel templates and schedules.
  • Change scheduled campaign status.
  • Change channel status.
  • Preview templates used by scheduled campaigns.

Search and filter campaigns

Use Filter by Campaign to show schedules tied to one campaign. Use Search by Name or ID... to narrow the scheduled campaign list.

Search updates after a short delay. Pagination, search, and campaign filter choices are reflected in the page URL so the current view can be shared or refreshed.

Use grid view

Grid view shows each scheduled campaign as a card.

Each campaign card can show:

  • Scheduled campaign ID and campaign name.
  • Audience name.
  • Date range.
  • Timezone.
  • Overall sent, opens, and CTR metrics.
  • Scheduled campaign status switch.
  • Edit, clone, and delete actions.
  • One section per channel.

Each channel section can show:

  • Channel type.
  • Channel status switch.
  • Channel sent, opens, and CTR metrics.
  • Schedule type and schedule summary.
  • Templates used by the channel.
  • Template preview action.
  • A/B test indicator when enabled.

Use list view

List view shows scheduled campaign and channel details in a table. It is useful when you need to compare metrics across many campaigns or channels.

Static columns can include:

  • Scheduled Campaign Status.
  • SH ID.
  • Status.
  • Campaign & Audience.
  • Schedule.
  • Channel & A/B.
  • Templates.

Default analytics measures include Sent, Opens, and Clicks. Other available measures depend on workspace analytics data and selected column settings.

Use Customize Table Columns to choose static columns and analytics measures. Use the date range selector to review performance for common ranges such as 7, 30, 90, 180, or 360 days.

Change campaign and channel status

Use the scheduled campaign status switch to pause or activate the overall scheduled campaign. Use the channel status switch to pause or activate a specific channel inside a scheduled campaign.

Status updates are sent to the backend. The list refreshes after a successful update.

warning

Changing status can affect live customer communication. Review the campaign, channel, templates, and schedule before pausing or reactivating delivery.

Edit audience and date range

Use the edit action for campaign details to open Edit Audience and Date Range.

From this dialog, you can:

  • Choose a preset date range.
  • Choose Custom Range with From and To dates.
  • Search audiences.
  • Select a different audience.
  • Apply the update with Update.

Custom range updates require both dates. Review the selected date range before updating because the dialog starts from the default date-range controls.

Edit channel templates and schedules

Use the edit action on a channel to open a channel-specific edit dialog, such as Edit Email Channel.

From this dialog, you can:

  • Change selected templates.
  • Turn A/B Test on or off.
  • Configure a one-time schedule.
  • Configure a recurring schedule.
  • Apply the update with Update.

At least one template is required before the channel update can be saved.

Clone or delete scheduled campaigns

Use Clone Campaign to copy an existing scheduled campaign. Review the cloned campaign after creation because audience, templates, schedules, and status should still match the intended use case.

Use Delete Campaign only when the scheduled campaign should be permanently removed. The delete dialog warns that the action cannot be undone.

Template previews

Template preview is available from scheduled campaign cards or table rows. The preview behavior depends on channel type:

  • SMS templates open an SMS preview.
  • Email templates open an email preview.
  • WhatsApp templates open a WhatsApp preview.
  • Push Notification templates open a push notification preview.

If a preview fails to load, check whether the template still exists and whether the selected workspace has access to it.

QA checklist

Before relying on a scheduled campaign, confirm:

  • The scheduled campaign appears in the expected grid or list view.
  • Search and campaign filter show the expected results.
  • The audience name and date range are correct.
  • Each channel has the correct status.
  • Each channel has the correct template or templates.
  • A/B test indicators match the intended setup.
  • Schedule summaries match the planned delivery time.
  • Timezone is correct.
  • Metrics are available for the selected date range where expected.
  • Push Notification metrics are reviewed with the available reporting context.
